dmXLAN NodeGBx 8

The dmXLAN NodeGBx 8 (stand-alone) is a compact DMX / Ethernet node featuring 8 fully isolated, fully programmable DMX/RDM ports, a dual Gigabit Ethernet switch, and an integrated user interface with display.

It offers 8 bi-directional, optically isolated DMX ports, configurable as DMX/RDM inputs or outputs, and supports advanced functions such as data splitting, merging (HTP / Priority), softpatching and backup when programmed with ELC’s free dmXLAN software.

Each DMX port is equipped with a programmable RGB status LED, providing clear visual feedback per universe/port and making it easy to identify ports during setup or troubleshooting. The DMX output is continuously monitored; detected changes and errors are shown on the node’s display and are also reported in dmXLAN for remote diagnostics.

  • Remote (offline) programming and monitoring and fixture parameter override using dmXLAN v4 or Fixture Tester
  • DMX Redundancy, loop the DMX back to another NodeHD or NodeGBx output for failover backup
  • DMX Output normal, HTP, Priority merging, Softpatch (channel by channel), programmable merging with DMX channel control
  • Support for WYSIWYG, Depence, Capture, Vision and other visualization software
  • Local control via color display with rotary encoder and pushbutton selector
