Theatrixx to distribute ELC and Green-GO

Canada – Award-winning Netherlands-based manufacturer ELC Lighting has appointed Theatrixx Technologies as the new exclusive distributor for both its product lines – the ELC range of DMX-over-IP lighting control products and the Green-GO family of digital wireless intercom solutions – in Canada. The deal was finalized at a meeting between Jacques Tessier, founder of Theatrixx Technologies, and ELC Lighting’s Silvio Cibien, at LDI in Las Vegas.

Philippe Laframboise, Theatrixx business development, says, “ELC and Green-GO have been staples of our industry for as long as I can remember. Their products and related software are designed very much with the operator in mind, packed with all the features needed in the field.”

Founded in 1999, Montreal-based Theatrixx is both a manufacturer and distributor of equipment for the performing arts, events, and live entertainment industries. As well as providing lighting, video, rigging and associated equipment from leading global brands, it also makes and sells its own range of products worldwide. These include the xVision Nomad LED screen, xPressCue media playback unit for video, lighting and audio professionals, the xVision Series of stand-alone video converters and the xFocus LED lighting range.

ELC Lighting’s products are a welcome addition to the Theatrixx offering, Laframboise believes, “As a distributor and manufacturer, we always aim to offer our customers peace of mind. We want them to have access to the most reliable products . . . We always look for complementary new brands, to provide turnkey solutions.”

He adds, “With products designed for both fixed installation and live events, we see great potential for ELC and Green-GO in all the wide variety of market sectors we serve. We are proud to be part of the adventure.”

Speaking on behalf of ELC Lighting, Silvio Cibien comments, “Theatrixx is a perfect fit for our brands. We share the same philosophy – to offer innovative, cost-effective, high-quality products that address real needs. We very much look forward to working with them.”
