ELC lighting introduces the final step in redundancy

DMX can now be made redundant. Up till now, a redundant network could be built right up to the ethernet to DMX node. However, the last link in the chain of lighting data – the DMX cable – was still a single point of failure.

The ELC lighting dmXLAN nodeGBx system now enables you to make your DMX system entirely redundant simply by feeding the end of your DMX run back into a nodeGBx. Simply by setting this port up as a DMX backup port ensures a smooth take-over in case of any failure in the DMX run.

The nodeGBx system is capable of extremely quick takeovers in case of failure. Virtually no glitches are seen on the lighting rig. In case of a DMX cable breakage or unplugging, the backup port will take over the DMX output within 50 ms. In case of a partial network failure, the backup port will take over directly after the set DMX hold time. When the ‘fault condition’ has ended the recovery time is less than one DMX frame.

New name of our design and manufacturing company

New name of our design and manufacturing company

Gemert, The Netherlands – From 1 March 2026, the design and manufacturing company behind ELC Lighting and Green‑GO Communication operates under a new name: Evenution.

This change applies to the company name, not to the names of the two product brands.

Why this change?

ELC and Green‑GO have shared the same production, engineering and expertise for many years. Moving to Evenution gives that shared foundation one clear company name, while the two brands continue independently, each with its own role in your workflow.

What changes?

  • The production company ELC Lighting B.V. is now called Evenution.
  • ELC keeps its current logo; product labels are updated to follow the brand guidelines more consistently.
  • Green‑GO Digital becomes Green‑GO Communication, including a new logo.
  • Evenution now handles production, sales and marketing directly.

What stays the same?

  • ELC tools that help you design, test, manage and monitor your lighting network.
  • Green‑GO systems that keep your crew connected with clear, immediate communication across any setup.
  • In‑house development and production in the Netherlands.
  • The same people. The same support.
  • The same focus on solutions that hold up in real live environments.

Two brands with their own purpose.

One production company behind them.

Welcome to Evenution.

Hibino Lighting presented ELC at ProLight & ProVisual 2026

Hibino Lighting presented ELC at ProLight & ProVisual 2026

Tokyo, Japan – Last month, in Februari 2026, our Japanese distributor Hibino Lighting showcased ELC at ProLight & ProVisual 2026 in Tokyo. The exhibition takes place every two years and brings together professionals from the entertainment and AV industries across Japan.

At the booth, visitors explored our network solutions and saw how ELC tools support reliable signal flow in demanding setups. Hibino shared photos from the show floor, giving a glimpse of how ELC was presented to technicians, designers and integrators looking for flexible, real world ready control solutions.

The next edition of ProLight & ProVisual will take place in 2028, and we look forward to supporting Hibino Lighting again as the Japanese market continues to grow.
